I am from missouri also, my kids needed a special nudge in some areas of school, so I went to my local schools and especially high schools and found students that were excelling in those areas and had them "tutor" several days a week, cheaper than most of the Sylvan plans, plus they were also on the same level mind wise.
The student made some money, my kids got the help they needed, and it save a lot of hassle and arguing from me and their dad to keep on their homework and lessons. Good luck!

What is the best math tutoring place around Crestwood Mo for my 6th grader?
My 11 year old has already had tutoring for basic math skills 2 years ago, but is still really struggling with basic math and has slowed her down in other areas of math. I’m looking for someone to recommend the best tutoring for her close to Crestwood/Afton/Sunset Hills area of St. Louis.
